Sahara Grim holds an eclectic background spanning bossa nova, jazz, rock, and Indian classical music. Her music merges the many influences into one sound that exists outside genre norms. Active in the underground LA music scene, Sahara joined minds with producer & artist Luke Temple in the creation of her debut album Fable, released in February 2025. Sahara’s ethnic roots in India and Japan are seamlessly interwoven within her musical path, from studying sitar at the UCLA Herb Alpert School of Music, where she received a degree in World Music & Jazz, to performing in venues across Japan. Sahara has shared the stage with The Marías, Charlotte Day Wilson, and Léa Sen among others.
Berlin-based Duo Lail & Lomar create Songs at the intersection of indie, jazz and Brazilian Music. Through blending thoughtfully crafted Arrangements with raw, personal Storytelling, they achieve an unmistakable and innovative Sound.
Lail & Lomar have already made a strong mark on the live scene, opening for the indie rock band International Music and performing at renowned venues such as Kantine am Berghain, Bi Nuu Berlin, Artheater Cologne, and Waschhaus Potsdam.
In 2025, they performed at festivals including Feel Festival, Sensus, and Down by the River, and will open shows on the European tour of the Belarusian band Soyuz in February 2026.
Their debut EP MY HEAD COULD EXPLODE introduced their distinctive blend of alternative, jazz-inflected songwriting, and experimental textures, and received media attention from taz and Radio Eins.
Alongside their work as a band, Lail & Lomar composed theatre music for the Nationaltheater Mannheim in 2023, which was met with positive critical reviews. Their upcoming single “Spit It Out” will be released on February 13, followed by the official music video on February 14, while the duo are currently working on their debut album.
„Lail & Lomar halten Dinge in der Schwebe und landen oft bei einer unerwarteten Auflösung … Luftiger, mäandernder Gesang, elegante Percussion, zwischendurch fast proggige Psychedelik-Gewitter.“
