A tale told by fossil algae
Tiny photosynthetic marine organisms are life-savers. They produce oxygen and capture the CO2 humankind has been producing. Dr. Luz Maria Mejia Ramirez of MARUM/University of Bremen will talk about how their fossils leave breadcrumbs that tell us how the climate was and how it may respond to human-released CO2 in the future.
