SKRYNYA Ukrainian Pop-Up Charity Berlin

TAGESTIPP
Dieses Event darfst du nicht verpassen.
Das sagt der/die Veranstalter:in:

We are a grassroot initiative SKRYNYA in Berlin aiming to help Ukraine and to show that Ukraine is not only about the headlines of the war. We believe that people in Europe didn't really have a chance to learn about the creative scene of Ukraine and therefore we aim to present it to Berliners.

  • We are genuine fans of the Ukrainian designers, who are most probably unknown to most Europeans, but worn by Dua Lipa, Avril Lavigne or Bella Hadid.
  • We deeply admire Ukrainian folks bringing together individual efforts into great initiatives in a unique and bold way: e.g. just in a few days Ukrainians are able to raise funds via social media to buy a space satellite.
  • We feel grateful to the volunteers who turned from photographers, IT engineers or teachers into true heroes: thousands of ordinary people like us risk their lives everyday to evacuate others from the war zones, bring humanitarian and medical care or rescue animals.

This is why we are inviting you to our next SKRYNYA Ukrainian Pop-Up Charity Market!

Friday, 28.10.2022 | 15:00-23:00 (opening party until 23:00)

Saturday, 29.10.2022 | 12:00-20:00 (a stunning documentary movie screening at 18:00)

The program includes:

a pop-up market with 30+ Ukrainian designers in fashion, jewelry and home decorations
 artworks of Ukrainian talents
workshops in creating a traditional Ukrainian motanka doll, beadwork, painting and others
a flower market, a kids corner and a beauty corner

good vibes by Ukrainian DJs and an opening party on Friday (until 23:00)
a stunning documentary movie 'Zhiva Vatra' ('The Living Fire') in cooperation with Ukrainian Signal on Saturday (18:00-20:00)

Together we will raise donations to support people in Ukraine: 5 Euro entry fee as well as 20% of the proceeds will be provided to the following official Ukrainian local organizations:
- RescueNOW: evacuation and humanitarian aid for eastern Ukraine.
- Sincere Heart: recovery camps to help children of war to restore their emotional and psychological well-being and accelerate their return to normal life.
