Hi everyone! 「Berlin Swap」 will be organizing our Swap Market Series #3 on Sunday, November 17th and we would like to invite you to join!

📍 Wühlischstr. 40 (super cozy indoor space next to Boxhagener Platz )

"BERLIN SWAP!" is a swap market series to reduce waste and over-consumption through community sharing. Come join our Winter Swap to hang out, meet each other, have fun, and hunt for treasures! Everyone is welcome to join and please feel free to bring your plus ones.

FAQ:

1. What should I bring?

Bring yourself! Bring family and friends! You are encouraged to bring items that are clean, not broken, and in working order. Please bring no more than 10 items this time. 

We welcome all items from different categories like clothes, books, shoes, kitchenware, toys, electronics, accessories, sportswear, etc. However, please do not bring food, medicine, or underwear. Party outfits welcome!

2. What can I take?

You don’t need to bring something to take something! Everything on the display tables is free to take. Definitely bring a tote bag or two for items you want to take home.

3. Will I have to watch my stuff and wait for people to take my items?

No. Simply sort your items with the help of our volunteers and you are good to go. There is no exchange based on how much or how little you bring, or the relative expense of the items.

4. Can I sell my stuff at the event?

No. Everything on the display tables is free on a first-come, first-served basis. 

5. When will be a good time to come?

We will be there on time! The first 1-2 hours is definitely a good time to hunt for treasure. We recommend to bring giveaways no later than 5:30pm to ensure time for them to find new homes.

6. Is it a social event?

Absolutely! We are very social and please come say hi to Joyce (organiser) if you have any questions or just need someone to chat with! Based on our past events, people love connecting over the stories behind their items, and many new friendships have blossomed here.

7. What happens to items left over after the event?

Any items left at the end of the event will be donated to either Systemfehler, Wühlisch40, or placed at the entrance of a nearby apartment buildings for others to take. You’re also welcome to take back any items you brought with you.
