Taxi Salon shatters the machinery with heavy growls and screams. Five concerts by international artists ignite a sonic onslaught. The series is dedicated to contemporary music that moves between experimental and leftfield. The program seeks to confront commodified listening culture through preparations, détournements and destructions.

Lord Spikeheart (Kenya)
Over the past decade, Kenyan vocalist, songwriter, and producer Martin Kanja—better known as Lord Spikeheart—has emerged as a key voice in African metal. His music blends death-metal, growls, sharp-edged screams, and rap into a unique style that cuts through heavy, high-energy instrumentals. In September 2025, Lord Spikeheart returned with REIGN, an EP that weaves industrial elements, death metal, grindcore, African rhythmic traditions, and club-driven energy into a bold, cohesive sound. Featuring collaborations with Iggor Cavalera, Brodinski, and Togolese heavyweights Arka’n Asrafakor, the project drew recognition from Metal Hammer, The Fader, and Wire Magazine, strengthening his reputation as one of the most forward-thinking artists in modern heavy music. That night, Lord Spikeheart will be performing alongside Talpah.

Lolo & Sosaku (Spain / Argentina / Japan)
The avant-garde Argentine-Japanese artist duo is revolutionizing the way we experience sound and form. Since 2004, they have been creating mesmerizing sound sculptures using self-made instruments and contraptions. Lolo & Sosaku’s work can be described as monumental, a clash between the organic and the inorganic, the real and the surreal. They employ basic mechanical knowledge and complex technical systems as if they were their own language, with which they manage to build a strange and inexplicable world that challenges traditional conventions. Known for transcending artistic boundaries, Lolo & Sosaku’s kinetic performance blurs the lines between noise performance and musical sculpture.

su dance110 (Berlin / China)
su dance110 is the sonic alias of Dan Su. Driven by artistic research, they work across sound, voice, performance, text, and installation, creating hybrid environments as cognitive fictions, where the marginal body becomes a critical site of transformation in relation to machine-mediated systems. Their sound performance explores threshold-based, invented vocal languages and electronic textures in site-specific settings, as part of a broader investigation of grief as embodied epistemic inference.

Talpah (Italy)
Born into the realm of ‘99, the enigmatic Talpah has intricately woven sonic experiences, saturating auditory explorations through platforms like CLAM, Opal Tapes, Never Sleep and Hundebiss. His sonic signature, characterized by glitches and intricate rhythms, embarks on a captivating deconstruction of conventional rhythms, each fracture and fusion executed with meticulous artistry. Within his creations lies an intriguing junction, an hyper-modern crossroads where the whispers of files and stems traverse the labyrinthine corridors of digital networks, interweaving with the primal vibrations and delicate whispers of soundsystem membranes.

Gertie Adelaido (Berlin)
Gertie Adelaido is an open channel, sound experimentalist, artist and meta-punk & ADHD-core creator. Through the heart of chaos they combine different areas of harsh noise, raw experimental sound, their hardcore, metal & screamo roots, contemporary electronics, drums and blending it all to contemporary finished mix. They scream, they sing, modulate voice, but most importantly they spread a message, fight for human and animal rights, all accompanied by harsh yet fragile melancholy. Gertie’s debut album ‘IMMORTALITY BETWEEN PARANOIA AND VIRUS’ will be out in February 2026 via Damien Records.
