TRILOKA - Immersive Live Ambient Sound Journey at the Genezarethkirche

Dear friends,

as summer reaches its peak and the hot days exhaust the city, we invite you to seek refuge with us for an evening of stillness and listening. Within the cool sanctuary of Genezarethkirche, we hold space to pause, exhale, and drift away from the heat of the season.

On the 28th of July, TRILOKA returns to guide you on a journey through sound, silence, and imagination—an invitation to reconnect with yourself.

TRILOKA offers an augmented sonic experience through the interaction of live acoustic and electronic instruments for meditative explorations, silent contemplation and the unfolding of the body-mind in the form of extended sound journeys.
The intercultural trio guides an immersive and introspective sound journey by combining the soothing melodies of the acoustic cello, the contemporary and psychedelic sound sculptures of the effected and processed electric guitar and the grounding frequencies of the gong and singing bowls.
All of that while you comfortably sit or lay down, close your eyes, meditate, dream along or float away in a cozy and safe space.

VENUE
The church’s cultural scope was extended by STARTBAHN, a progressive team of theologians and artists who together test the church as a public space, a place for artistic and spiritual experiences as well as for social and socio-political projects, promoting self-organized coexistence in the neighborhood and shaping cultural and spiritual spaces.
