For one weekend, Import Export becomes a meeting point for music, movement and transatlantic sonic culture.

Inspired by the Picó traditions of Colombia's Caribbean coast and the many soundsystem cultures of the Atlantic, Tropiko Atlantiko explores the sonic relationships connecting Latin America, the Caribbean, West Africa and Europe. Rather than presenting genres as isolated identities, the festival follows the routes between Cumbia, Forró, Baile Funk, Reggaetón, Dembow, Bouyon, Dancehall, Jungle, Dub, Champeta, Soukous and contemporary bass music, revealing the shared histories, rhythmic continuities and collective energy that connect them.

Across two days and one night, live performances, DJs and a stage inspired by the visual language of Caribbean Picó culture transform Import Export into a space where carnival meets club culture, street traditions encounter electronic experimentation, and dancefloors become places of cultural exchange.

Alongside the music, an artisan market, food and drinks invite visitors to spend the day together beyond the dancefloor, creating space for encounters, exchange and community throughout the weekend.

Rather than celebrating fixed categories such as "Latin", "Dub" or "World Music", Tropiko Atlantiko embraces movement, dialogue and mutation, reflecting the ways music continues to travel, transform and create new connections across the Atlantic.
