Exploring community in all its forms—friendship, family, activism—this exhibition celebrates the many ways we connect and belong.

Vernissage: The Shape of Us – Finding Belonging in Many Forms

Community doesn’t always look the same. Sometimes it’s loud and celebratory, other times it’s quiet and steady. It can take the shape of friendship, family, activism, or simply the comfort of knowing you belong.

This exhibition explores the many ways people come together, weaving different lives and voices into something shared. Each artist reflects on the connections that form when we gather, support, and uplift one another.

Rather than defining community as a single idea, The Shape of Us invites us to see its endless expressions — a circle of friends, a neighborhood gathering, a gesture of solidarity. Together, they remind us that belonging is not one form but many, and in every shape, there is beauty.
