Vogue Femme - empowerment through movement (EN)

Hein is from Myanmar and has started the Ballroom and community supporting since 2021. He started in Poland with the categories called All American Runway and Old Way. Later 2022, “Vogue Fem” performance has become his main category in Kiki and Major scene. He is based in Leipzig at this moment and has also organized FFs (Friday Functions Leipzig) and showcases.

Led by Hein, participants will learn a fundamental history about Voguing and what are the basic five elements of “Vogue Femme“. This workshop opens to beginners friendly and includes theories and practices. Through short choreographed sequences and free improvisation, self-confidence, expressiveness and mutual support within the group will be strengthened.

No one will be excluded on financial grounds.

The workshop will be conducted in English to create an open and international space and to appeal to people from diverse backgrounds. No prior dance experience is required.
