My fascination with Eastern philosophy, inspired by my Buddhist father, has led me to embrace concepts like „Wu Wei“, which emphasizes natural action without excessive effort. I have learned to apply these ideas to my life and to my art.
This workshop combines physical theater techniques with Eastern philosophy and mindfulness. It helps improvisers become aware of their need for control and learn to let go, enabling them to reach the flow state and connect with themselves and their partners on stage. Through non-action, embracing change, not focusing on outcomes, and letting go of excess, improvisers can tap into their natural energy and respond spontaneously to their inner impulses.
Overall, this workshop offers tools for cultivating a body-mind state that aligns with the state of flow, allowing improvisers to perform without struggle or excess effort.
Liron and Igancio are two improvisers, clowns and physical theatre actors, with more than 15 years of training each. They both teach workshops that combine physicality and improv.
