Driven by their passion for film and art, the Mindpirates run a weekly event programme together with fellow artists and curators in THE HOLE. Film screenings, performances, concerts, art interventions and installations take place at varying intervals, often announced at short notice. Whether screening room or project space, the large display window in the front allows everything that happens inside the institute to become a public event. Since 2015 the Mindpirates operate their Institut für Sehsüchte – THE HOLE – in a former retail space at Schlesische Straße 37 in Berlin.
