Berlin NewGen Film Festival is dedicated to discovering and supporting the emerging filmmakers who are shaping the future of Asian cinema. We promote independent and innovative film practices, showcasing the richness, diversity, and dynamism of Asian cultures and societies.

Since 2022, NewGen has held three successful festivals in Berlin and organized special screenings in other European cities like Amsterdam and Paris. In collaboration with the China Contemporary Animation Archives, NewGen also launched the "N.A. Talk" series, creating a platform for dialogue and collaboration within the Asian film industry.
