Lilly Mortis presents
Das sagt die Seite:
Lilly Mortis DIVA. ICON. SIREN.
LILLY MORTIS is a defining figure of Berlin's contemporary cabaret scene. Deeply rooted in the traditions of historical queer Kabarett and contemporary nightlife culture, she works within a queer and subversive performance lineage that traces back to early twentieth-century cabaret.
She is a singer, MC, writer, dramaturge, artistic director and producer working across cabaret, immersive theatre and film. Known for her velvet voice, magnetic stage presence and razor-sharp wit, she combines music, comedy and immersive performance with political and social commentary.
She is the creator of KABARET KLUB at Ballhaus Berlin and KABARET LILIUM, an intimate immersive cabaret salon in the heart of Kreuzberg. Her productions breathe new life into cabaret, bringing historical Kabarett into dialogue with contemporary nightlife through live music, fashion, satire and immersive performance.
Alongside her stage work, Lilly works as a screenwriter and dramaturge, focusing on queer stories and voices. Her credits include Teaches of Peaches (Teddy Award, Berlinale) and KITKATCLUB – Kinks of Berlin. She is also part of the curatorial and organisational team of the Queer Performance Festival (QPF) in Berlin.
