In the artist's words:

Even at the age of 10, Bush.ida realized that what happens in rap is somehow different. Different in the sense of... Angry? Political? An outlet? Empowering? The latter last. When ida fled from toxic family relationships to hip-hop parties in sweatpants, women were objects and queer people were non-existent. After all, it took academic excursions into sociology and sustainability science, a depressive disgust with the world and the absolutely undeniable realization that not only the private but also the climatic is feminist.
