In the artist's words:

My origins are in product design and marketing. While in the product and consumer world the focus is usually on aesthetically perfect surfaces and functionality, I seek a counterpoint in art. My artistic practice is therefore an extension of my professional training, supplemented by the application of design principles. My work is often inspired by everyday observations and the desire to reveal the subtle beauty of the overlooked. This results in works that consciously deal with destroyed surfaces and patterns that do not follow the criteria of smooth aesthetics.

I use tools such as transfer printing, modeling clay, ink and spray paint.
