The cie. toula limnaios (cie. = company) was founded in 1996 by the choreographer and dancer Toula Limnaios and the composer Ralf R. Ollertz. Since then, the eight-member ensemble has developed into one of the most successful contemporary dance companies in Germany.

With around 60-70 performances a year in Berlin and on international stages in Europe, Africa, Asia and South America, cie. toula limnaios delights audiences all over the world.

Its production and performance venue is the HALLE Tanzbühne Berlin. The listed former gymnasium from the 19th century was converted into a private theater with 140 seats in 2003 and has since established itself as an internationally recognized stage for contemporary dance in the heart of Berlin.
