In the horror genre, sequels tend to be superficial. As the obnoxious movie bro Randy explains in Scream 2: "There are certain rules you have to follow to make a successful sequel. Number one: the body count is always bigger. Number two: the death scenes are always much more elaborate - more blood, more gruesomeness. Carnage candy. And number three: never, under any circumstances, assume the killer is dead. Last Halloween, experimental rap kingpins Clipping from Los Angeles ended their three-year hiatus with the horrorcore-inspired album "There Existed an Addiction to Blood". This October, rapper Daveed Diggs and producers Jonathan Snipes and William Hutson return with an even higher body count, more elaborate murders and monsters that just won't stay dead.
