Coasters is a duo from sunny Cape Town, South Africa. Katarina (vocals, music and lyrics) and Luke (multi-talented musician and producer) met through mutual music friends and quickly realized their creative compatibility. Their connection quickly grew into a deep friendship and musical partnership that led to a long-awaited exploration of their favorite genres.

In 2023, Coasters released their debut EP Heartbreak Looks Good On You and began performing regularly at music venues and festivals. The duo quickly gained notoriety and landed gigs opening for local legends such as Jeremy Loops and Will Linley. Guided by heartfelt lyrics, flowing chords and captivating synths, Coasters are a harmonious blend of indie and electro-pop with a dash of psych-rock that carries you through a wave of emotions.

And while their music tackles themes of love and grief, it's Katarina's raw and mesmerizing vocals, combined with Luke's atmospheric instrumentals, that can break your heart and stitch it back together again.
