Electric Sheep is an alternative art pop band from Cologne. Jonah (vocals, keys), Laurenz (drums), Tobias (guitar) and Paul (bass) have been writing songs together since 2022. Different musical ideas and a collective songwriting approach lead to an unmistakable sound somewhere between indie pop, alternative rock and jazz studies. Brutal guitar sounds meet danceable indie grooves and melodies with catchy tunes meet checked-out harmonies. The songs tell of their own experiences, hopes and fears, reflecting the reality of life for young adults in the 21st century. First love, taking on responsibility for the first time, the first groundbreaking identity crisis and all this with the prospect of a future that seems about as confidence-inspiring as someone asking you for directions at Ebertplatz at night.
