The last few years have been pretty crazy for the Ratinger band Friday And The Fool. Between countless hours in the rehearsal room and in the studio, it's been everything from small, intimate concerts to big festivals. A sold out EP release concert at Zakk Düsseldorf, a place in the Viral 50 Charts Germany and some radio appearances from Radio Fritz to WDR 2 gave the last year the pepper the band could put into their new songs and sounds. So the actually totally different voices of singer and saxophonist Svenja Kupschus and those of singer and keyboardist Anton Lenger fit together in exactly the right places and become with guitarist Jonathan Dangelmeyer, Erik Chudzik on bass and Felix Große on drums just this sound that you just can't get out of your head; (indie) pop and rock mixed with funk and soul. And the five are not getting tired: Still in May they release the first of 3 new singles, shortly thereafter they plunge into the much sought-after festival season and at the end of 2019, in addition to further releases, a small tour of Germany is scheduled.
