There is no copying here, no - genre boundaries are effortlessly broken. By limiting themselves to just two instruments (bass and drums) and two singers, they generate maximum power with seemingly simple means.

Sophisticated riffs and arrangements give this production the unique Heckspoiler sound. Straight from the heart - choruses merge with uncompromising heaviness and drama. The irrepressible presence of the two musicians is captured in the best possible way.

The result is eleven characteristic rock/punk songs, always to the point. Heart and soul and down-to-earthness, self-irony and humor, paired with extravagant honesty are the basic ingredients of the lyrics, which are mostly performed in dialect. Critical themes include the indispensable car in the countryside and its obstruction, the inability to be happy (for others), narrow-minded thinking, lack of empathy and the selfishness of society. Longing, love, pain and addiction are dealt with on the basis of realistic experiences.

Although much of it is tongue-in-cheek, it does not mutate into a purely humorous affair. Of course, flat insults and macho posturing are avoided. Heckspoiler's already established concept of creating music for the road in sound and vision is consistently continued on "Tokyo Drift".
