In the artist's words:

The universe did everything in its power to prevent this album from being released: the hard hand of capitalism was wielded, offspring were produced, even Siechthum was sent into existence. It was no use, because the principle of friendship and two and a half hands full of songs were stronger. In short: Herrenmagazin are making a new album. In short II: Herrenmagazin go on tour.

Why are they doing this? To make a point? To close a parenthesis? To draw a line under something?
It's more about enjoying the music and the time spent together. It can be that simple, and this time it is.
