In the artist's words:

Hillary are the theater makers Anna Winde-Hertling and Stefan Mießeler. The theater duo combines fictional stories with authentic testimonials, modern myths with documentary material. As artistic researchers, they approach current socially relevant topics through intensive research and expert interviews in order to shed light on connections, contradictions and dissonances with the help of genre-typical forms of representation. Her goal: an interrogative trash aesthetic with entertainment value.

Anna Winde-Hertling is a freelance theater maker and performer in Munich. She studied at the University of Hildesheim, at Dartington College of Arts (UK) and at San Francisco State University. Anna is a founding member of the collective Pandora Pop and has been part of the ELLE collective since 2022.

Stefan Mießeler is a performer and theater maker based in Berlin. Mießeler is a trained director and has been active in the independent theater scene since 2013. He has realized projects in Lisbon, Ulaanbaatar and New York and often interweaves formats and genres with social issues in his work.
