In the artist's words:

In the HOT SPOT Hamburg theater group, amateur actors and theater enthusiasts have been working together on, in front of and behind the stage since 2011. The ensemble currently has 17 members. The rehearsal and performance venue is the stage of the FÖRDERN & WOHNEN ballroom at Borsteler Chaussee 301, 22453 Hamburg.

With each production, HOT SPOT Hamburg remains true to itself and offers its audience not only an entertaining evening of theater, but also stimulates thought or reflection with its High German plays. Most recently, the association's creative work has included performances ranging from social dramas (The Train by Carl Slotboom) to bitterly evil mystery thrillers (Amber Hall by Lars Lienen).

In addition to the fun of amateur theater and the dynamic, respectful theater community, HOT SPOT Hamburg is committed to doing good. Since the company was founded, it has supported social projects and donated part of its ticket revenue. Since its foundation, we have provided financial support to the Hamburg homeless magazine Hinz & Kunzt and regularly to the FÖRDERN & WOHNEN support association.
