With expressive color intensity and impulsive brushwork, the energetic works of Dutch painter Jan Peter van Opheusden tell of joy of life, relationships, landscapes and fantasy, both figuratively and abstractly.

Jan Peter van Opheusden, born in Eindhoven in 1941, works in a variety of disciplines such as painting, sculpture and graphic techniques. His painting is characterized by vivid colors, expressive emotions and dynamic movements. He prefers acrylic paints and often works quickly and intuitively, both with the brush and with his hands. He considers color to be an elementary component of his art and often chooses primary and contrasting colors to convey direct emotions and feelings.

Since his major exhibition under the roof of the Grande Arche in Paris in 1998, his work has gained international recognition and can be found in museums and private collections around the world.enjoy with us the play of colors of the approaching spring as well as that of the artist.
