Kalina Kostova, born in Munich in 1997 with Bulgarian roots, is a modest but profound artist who is at home in diverse forms of artistic expression. As a graduate of the Fachoberschule für Gestaltung and the Technische Hochschule in interior architecture and furniture design, she has a professional creative background. Kostova has been painting and drawing for many years, and her most recent passion is portraiture and the study of painting as a science. Her works are surrealistic in nature and are created through the use of oil and acrylic paints as well as various objects, such as a real moth in the painting "Body without Emotion". Kostova has exhibited in Munich and Berlin, including a solo exhibition at Feierwerk Farbenladen and Kunsthaus Kule Berlin. She currently works as an interior and furniture designer, but stays true to painting, music and philosophy in every free minute. Her upcoming exhibition at the Berlin gallery Erstererster in January 2025, which she won through a competition, will once again continue her impressive artistic journey under the title "End-los Leben". Kalina's life is an incessant search for lightness, always aware of the transience of existence.
