In the artist's words:

"a line in my skin" is Karo Lynn's third album and musically a real development from its predecessor "Outgrow". Between Daughter, Ben Howard and The National, the Leipzig songwriter moves from slow-motion ballads to pop songs full of musical gems to powerful mid-tempo numbers in new musical terrain - but with the same intensity. The feather-light acoustic guitars and lively indie beats of the first album have given way to eternally floating guitar melodies and comfortingly dark synth atmospheres - a perfect place for Karo's dark, expressive voice.
