In the artist's words:

Germany in June 2017: something is making its way. Slowly but surely, it spreads and takes root in people's minds - ready to infect everything and everyone: "Virus", the debut album from PANTALEON, will be released on June 16.
The progressive metal band stands for a movement in metal that perfectly combines the complexity, breadth and elegance of great epics with the catchiness and heaviness of straightforward songs.
Four-minute neckbreakers have the same importance as 10-minute progressive battles. Tracks such as the thundering "Wake Up" or the epic "Slaves To Ourselves" live just as much from the powerful lyrics as from the incredible musical strength of the band members such as main songwriter and bassist Sebastian Heuckmann, whose many years of experience as an instrumentalist are evident at every moment.
On drums, Jan Palkoska combines toughness and finesse in an inimitable way, and Xaver Schiffels, an exceptional guitarist, shows that it is possible to stage his six strings acrobatically but always in a song-oriented manner even without a one-man show.
While Patrick Sühl from Gun Barrel rounded off the organic sound of the record with his voice in the studio, Christian has now been found as a permanent singer for all upcoming band activities in order to bring out Pantaleon's apocalyptic, dark atmosphere live as well.
"Virus" is the first full-length album produced by the band; Armin Rave (Soundsight Studio) is responsible for mixing and mastering. And one thing is certain: This "virus" is highly contagious!
