PaulWetz from the Black Forest wrote his first song at the age of eight. Back then, he was still playing guitar in a rock band, and today's producer and singer/songwriter played his fingers to the bone and screamed for all he was worth. Today, PaulWetz prefers to sing and increasingly swaps the guitar for the computer, where he produces songs not only for himself but also for other musicians.

PaulWetz combines his songwriting with electronic music and says himself that if you had to label his sound, it would be "alternative, melancholic pop music with influences from techno".

The lyrics are honest, poetic and pointed, and tell of friendships, dreams and the chaos of life. The sound moves between club and daydream, between self-irony and emotional depth.
