Rossano Snel - live in der Taborkirche

In the artist's words:

Rossano is a Brazilian artist, composer and music educator. He believes that music has power, the power to move people and change the entire course of a life, which he considers to be his case. He has been playing the piano since the age of eight and began composing at the age of ten.

As a composer, Rossano has created pieces for cinema, television, installations and site-specific performances. He has worked for HBO, Universal Pictures, Netflix, arte and ZDF on numerous feature films, short films and TV series.

Rossano has lived between Berlin and São Paulo since 2014. He has been performing on German stages as an artist and pianist since 2016. His song Sunday 23 was released on the renowned German label Deutsche Grammophon. He has also released several singles and EPs on his own label "Strings and Hopes Berlin".

Rossano Snel returns to the Tabor Church for his last concert of the year.

The Berlin-based Brazilian artist will play his own songs on the church organ, piano and synthesizers and promises a very deep and intimate journey through his music, which has influences from minimalism, Brazilian music, neoclassical, jazz and ambient.

In the 2nd half, he will be accompanied on stage by German composer Ilja Coric on guitar and e-bow. There is also a secret guest who will be making a special appearance that evening.

The Taborkirche is located in Kreuzberg, at Taborstraße 17, 10997 Berlin, close to Schlesisches Tor, Görlitzer Park and the Club der Visionäre.

The church will offer drinks and refreshments before the concert and during the interval.
