In the artist's words:

The Moobies are a post-punk band from the Cologne-Bonn area. They are winners of the Toys2Masters band contest 2023 and will release their debut album "All Long Gone" on May 3, 2024.

In December 2023, they launched a crowdfunding campaign to finance their first album. They reached their goal of 3333€ in under 24 hours with strong support from their fans and ended the crowdfunding with 5000€. The band spent January 2024 in the recording studio with their producer, Julian Böckeler. The resulting album is entitled "All Long Gone" and accompanies the band through the end of their school days, lockdowns, break-ups and relocations.

Jonas C. Weiler, Marc Hankwitz, Simon C. Schmidt, Marek Stöhr and Niclas Löffelbein went to school together in Neunkirchen-Seelscheid. With influences ranging from indie pop to post-punk, they started making music together in 2018 while still at school. After the band started with cover songs by Arctic Monkeys, Pixies and Weezer, it wasn't long before they wrote their first original songs and played gigs in 2019.

Thanks to winning the main prize at Toys2Masters, they will be playing at Bochum Total in 2024 and a special prize at the Greenjuice Festival in Bonn. Marc Hankwitz was named best guitarist of the competition with the title "Master of Guitar".
