Born in Stuttgart in 1968, Thomas D is not just a highly professional entertainer from the German RAP scene, Thomas D has a mission, a message. His life and his successes have demanded a lot from him. Time to grow up, time to face his inner child, time to expose his self-lies for what they are: "We have clear minds but don't stop numbing them, have recognized the truth but don't stop denying it, have it in our hands but don't stop wasting it," he raps self-critically. In his lyrics, Thomas D puts his finger on where it hurts, but at the same time he also points out that we are all in the same boat with our deep vulnerability, our innermost longings and our many imperfections.
