Tom Blankenberg is a composer and sound designer from Düsseldorf.
Since the mid-2010s, he has been writing and playing piano music that "sounds like an encounter between Arvo Pärt and Bill Evans, with a touch of Sakamoto".

His album atermus was released in 2019 and has gained a loyal audience worldwide. This was followed in 2021 by the album et, with which Blankenberg received the City of Düsseldorf's sponsorship award and was nominated for the Outstanding Artist of the PopNRW Prize. His third album is due to be released in 2024.
