The Tonhain Kollektiv e.V. is a group of young, dynamic musicians who have set themselves the goal of reinventing the chamber music scene in Berlin.

With our permanent residency at Tonhain, an intimate new concert hall in Steglitz, and our unique collective leadership structure, we aim to create an innovative center for chamber music where Berlin musicians of the younger generations perform. In our role as performers and organizers, we seek connections between our craft and a broad spectrum of other fields. Our interdisciplinary concert formats, carefully selected works that reflect the pulse of our time and society, and the use of digital possibilities set new standards for chamber music of the highest artistic quality. The Tonhain Kollektiv opens its doors to a young, diverse audience and takes them on an incomparable experience that reinterprets the traditions of chamber music.
