Troglauer: revolutionaries of new folk music and undisputed party guarantors

The Troglauer are one of the most successful show and live bands of "new folk music" and have been inspiring a wide audience with their unique sound for years. Their music not only transcends genre boundaries, it also shatters expectations. It is an experience that is difficult to put into words.

The five musicians, who have been best friends since childhood, combine the traditional sounds of folk music with current chart sounds from pop and Schlager as well as powerful guitar riffs from rock. In this way, they create an unmistakable style that delights young and old alike.

Trying to pigeonhole the Troglauer into one musical category is like trying to squeeze all the peaks of the Alps into one shoebox - it just doesn't fit and it simply doesn't do justice to the size and diversity of the mountains. Their music breathes the freedom of not allowing itself to be pigeonholed, and that is precisely what gives it its intoxicating strength. With every note the Troglauer play, they send a smile to the conventions of folk music and show that boundaries are there to be crossed. Since their foundation in 2004, the Troglauer from the tranquil village of Troglau have developed into real stars of party music and still show themselves as they are: Authentic, approachable and full of love for their music. Die Troglauer - a band who are passionate about their music - have been delivering the title and trailer song for the 21st season of the TV ratings hit of the same name in Austria since May 2024 with the new edition of their hit "Bauer sucht Frau". This modern version combines fresh pop sounds, lively beats and more tempo and authentically conveys what the TV show is all about with its down-to-earth simplicity. The Troglauer are convinced: "Bauer sucht Frau (ATV reloaded)" is an anthem for all farmers looking for love!
