Zohar Lioz-Aviv, a singer-songwriter from Leipzig, originally from Tel Aviv, Israel, performs his own songs accompanied by the lovely backup vocals of singer Julia Bloom. Together, they create a folky sound that blends melancholy with optimism Inspired by artists like Bob Dylan and Leonard Cohen, Zohar is a storyteller, and the lyrics of his music play a crucial role. Drawing from his own personal journey and experiences as a trans man, he manages to create songs that address universal themes such as love, challenges, and hope. His voice has a warm tone reminiscent of Cat Stevens, and his melodies are full of emotion.
