CaféPure Pastry
The variety of croissants couldn't be more colorful! The patisserie on Carlsplatz not only shines with its fine selection of chocolates, but also with its large, crispy croissants. The normal butter croissant is available for €2.50, but the highlight is definitely the filled croissants. It's hard to choose between lemon meringue, pistachio, raspberry or popcorn! Tip: It's worth getting there early!
Kioki Coffee
Cornetto or croissant? It doesn't matter, the main thing is buttery, crispy and delicious! The Italian croissant variant with vanilla, chocolate or hazelnut filling is available from Kioki. There is something for every taste. And best of all: the in-house coffee roastery provides you with the best coffee. Off to Kioki, but pronto!
Bulle Bäckerei
40233 Düsseldorf
It couldn't be crispier! The Bulle bakery is known for using only natural ingredients, no malt and no leavening agents - all by hand. And what can I say: you can taste it! There are countless layers of butter waiting for you, whether natural or with chocolate. You can currently also find the bakery with its pop-up on Saturdays from 8 am to 12 pm and Fridays from 8 am to 4 pm at Lorettostraße 17 at YOMARO. Bread, baguettes, heart-warming cinnamon buns and, of course, croissants.
Bäckerei Hinkel
Are you looking for tradition? Then head for Hinkel. The bakery in the old town has been around since 1891 and still attracts crowds of people every weekend! But it's worth queuing, because the croissants are delicious. If you're a fan of marzipan: be sure to order the marzipan croissant. Simply a 10/10!
Pure Note
We went in search of vegan options in Düsseldorf and unfortunately didn't find that many. An appeal to all bakeries: Something needs to happen! Good news: Pure Note has saved us once again. The Bilker Café gets its vegan spelt croissants from the Hercules bakery and serves them in the unpackaged store. So until the other bakeries follow suit, it's off to Bilk!
