1. Ausstellung im Storage Museum

In the organizer's words:

We cordially invite you, your friends and family to the opening of the 1st exhibition at the Storage Museum on August 31, 2024 from 5 to 9 pm in the historic Salzmannbau in Düsseldorf-Bilk. Works of art from the collection will be shown in the middle of the Storage Museum's storage and exhibition space.

The Storage Museum is a new exhibition space in Düsseldorf. The Storage Museum combines the functions of an art storage facility and a museum in one exhibition space. Artists can store works of art in the Storage Museum. Temporary public exhibitions are developed from this collection. Of course, artists whose works are not (yet) in the Storage Museum's collection are also invited to participate in exhibitions. The collection is also made accessible to an interested public through an online database, regular guided tours of the collection and the accompanying program.

Initially, 30 artists have been selected to store their artworks in the Storage Museum. Over the next four years, more artists will have the opportunity to store their artworks in the Storage Museum, and the Storage Museum's collection will continue to grow.
