GANTER Oktoberfest fans can look forward to the specially brewed GANTER festival beer and hearty delicacies. Groovy live music will ensure a great atmosphere on all festival days.

So if you want to wear your lederhosen or dirndl from September 25 to October 5, 2024, if you like to dance on the benches and don't want to miss out on the genuine Baden-Bavarian GANTER fun, you should secure your tickets now. It starts daily from 17.00 hrs.

1. Why is it called Oktoberfest?
   The Oktoberfest takes its name from its origins: the very first Oktoberfest was held in October 1810 to celebrate the wedding of Crown Prince Ludwig and Princess Therese. Back then, the festival lasted several days. Because the weather is usually better in September, the start was moved forward, but the name 'Oktoberfest' has remained. So you can celebrate Oktoberfest in September - perfect, right?
   
2. What should you wear to Oktoberfest?
   The right traditional costume is a must at the Oktoberfest! For men: lederhosen with a checked shirt and Haferl shoes. For women: a colorful dirndl with apron - remember, the bow on the left for single and on the right for forgiven. With traditional jewelry and a hat, you'll be perfectly dressed in Oktoberfest style! Of course, you can also just wear whatever you feel most comfortable in.
