The event with cult status!

The Trier Comedy Slam is a competition that has set itself the task of promoting comic talent and straining the audience's laughter muscles. This competition is open to everyone, with full risk and always without cover. Newcomers take their first steps here, established comedians test their new material on our stage - often for the first time and sometimes for the last time. Sometimes they dish it out - sometimes they get a black eye.

Each artist has a maximum of 10 minutes to convince the audience. The laughing audience chooses the winner by applause.

The line up

Daniel Bittmann - Düsseldorf
Daniel Bittmann was clearly born in the wrong body - because he identifies himself as a successful comedian. Unfortunately, things didn't go any better in the office. The resignation from his job as creative director in an advertising agency was therefore a great relief for everyone involved. That was over two years ago now and the list of comedy competitions he hasn't won is already endless. However, Daniel also causes mixed feelings at mix shows and open mics across Germany with his same old "jokes": the reactions regularly fluctuate from laughter to ridicule. The last bit of strength to endure all this with his head held high is taken from him by his life motto: "Always stay down more than you fall down!

Kai Fricke - Cologne
Kai Fricke is a former policeman and then worked as a cruise ship entertainer. He likes to share the funny stories he really experienced on stage. Laughter is not punishable by law.

Pierre Hover - Cologne
Pierre Hover is 50% Turkish, 50% German and 100% funny. That's why he's been on stage as a presenter and comedian all over Germany for two years now, proving to himself and the audience why it was a pretty good idea to drop out of teaching school. Pierre's ideas are somewhere between "hahahahahha" and "huh?" and that's where his whole life actually lies. Sometimes he doesn't even know exactly what he wants to say when he starts talking and that's exactly why you enjoy listening to him. Pierre lives and works in Cologne.


Mo Boubaker - Cologne
"Why are you funny, Mr. Boubaker?" "Because I have no other choice." Bright eyes and teary laughter are guaranteed with this extremely likeable comedian. The Cologne native is considered a high-flyer in Germany's comedy capital: highly likeable, crazy, quick-witted, the combination that makes it exciting, a real asset to the comedy scene.
