It was the party decade par excellence - people partied to Gnarls Barkley, White Stripes, Outkast, Kanye West, Gorillaz, Green Day, Lady Gaga and so on and so forth. Music became more electronic, CDs became old-fashioned, the iPod revolutionized the portability and availability of your own music library, be it on the beach, on vacation, at a party, wherever and whenever. MySpace and YouTube (before GEMA) made streaming possible, music was ripped, shared and exchanged. Suddenly, music was everywhere, produced everywhere and put online. New ideas, styles and genres exploded in this fertile universe. Hammer!
