When her partner's two daughters unexpectedly come into her care, Dita is forced to put her home in order. Various queer and Roma people who have sought refuge on Dita's estate live together in this home and now live there as an unusual household community. Homophobic discrimination and anti-Romaism are part of their everyday lives. To avoid getting into trouble with the authorities, Dita enters into a sham marriage with her gay roommate. What follows is a turbulent drama about love, loyalty and the meaning of family.
