6. Internationale Norddeutsche Meisterschaft im Fischerstechen

In the organizer's words:

Fishermen's jousting is traditionally fought in more southerly climes, but now this water sport is finally making its way to Bremen, or more precisely, to the Weser.
In a slightly modified form, the contestants go into battle on a SUP board, armed with half a windsurfing mast and a boxing glove.
The aim is to throw your opponent off balance by skillfully pushing with the lance, and if you do, to land in the water second.
One person sits at the back and steers the board with the paddle, the second person stands at the front and maneuvers the mast.
These teams of two can now register, with a great team title and fancy costumes.
There should be 16 teams, with a consolation round mat underneath the knockout system.
There are even prizes.

Arrival and briefing is at 13:30, from 14:00h it goes from the raft to the boards.

Participants pay their entry fee when registering via Eventbrite, spectators gain Free admission but are allowed to express their pleasure at the donation head at the Barlette beach bar.
