7 Colours of ANATOLIA

In the organizer's words:

Anatolia is a collection of cultures that has been home to many different civilizations and ethnic societies throughout history and has a broad socio-cultural potential. Its culture, art and music are correspondingly complex and multi-layered. Today's Anatolia consists of seven geographical regions. Each region has its own unique performances, emotions, philosophies, lifestyles and musical styles.

As part of an intercultural workshop, the sponsor SunArt e. V. wants to develop a multilingual song repertoire from the Anatolian region with an intercultural choir ensemble, professional and amateur musicians and present it to the general public in a concert in Cologne.

This music project is part of the program "The Promotion of Amateur Music", supported by the LANDESMUSIKRAT NRW. The project 7 Colour of Anatolia is organized by SunArt e. V. and prepared and presented by the project leader Selcuk Alika.
