Paper theater festival in the Bürgerpark Oberföhring

for the eighth time in October from 17. -20.10.24 in the Bürgerpark:

Curtain up for great theater in miniature format

Under the motto >Gänsehautgeschichten< , six stages from all over Germany have been invited to present a wide variety of productions.

Goosebumps don't just mean reacting to negative, scary, creepy things - particularly touching stories can also give us goosebumps and so we will experience the most diverse forms of tension and emotions in the stories on the small stages

After an introduction to the history of paper theater in the "Kleines Theater im Pförtnerhaus",the opening event will take us on a walk to the stages that await the audience in various houses in the Bürgerpark. There, the actors will show us short excerpts from their productions and thus give us an insight into the diversity of the medium of paper theater.

Registration is also urgently required for the workshop on Saturday afternoon. The aim is to create a little theater to take home. In paper theater, anyone can become an artistic director*, director*, narrator*, actor*, designer*, set designer* and lighting technician* all in one. Our workshop provides tips and suggestions, especially for work in the educational field

Paper theater has been on the Federal List of Intangible Cultural Heritage for a number of years and is an inspiring experience with hardly more than 20 spectators, i.e. in an almost family setting, with great theater on the smallest of stages.
