INTERNATIONAL SUMMER FESTIVAL 2024

Singer, producer, style icon - and now also performance queen: Ace Tee is staging her new album as a stage play, including an after-show party.

Hamburg musician Ace Tee is presenting her first performance work and making the next move in an impressive career: in 2017, her debut song "Bist du down?" catapulted her onto international playlists, then she became a style setter with a fashion collection for H&M, and with millions of streamed singles such as "Also Bitte" and "Hunnies", she finally put Hamburg on the world music map. After a celebrated summer festival concert last year, Ace Tee, who found her way to music through dance, is now pooling her creative forces and staging her new album as a stage play: UPSIDE DOWN will be released as an EP at the end of July and then premiered at the summer festival as a visual performance with live music and choreography. With virtuoso rap skills in English, German and Twi and a musical spectrum ranging from funky house to Afro swing to drum 'n' bass, Ace Tee takes up her own biography as the daughter of two Ghanaian parents from Hamburg and celebrates her path to self-confidence and self-determination of her own identity and history. The evening ends with a joint celebration of styles and beats in the club, where a line-up matching the piece invites you to let yourself fall into the night.
