Advent, Advent - contemplative time? What is usually conjured up and carried forward like a banner rarely reflects reality. What is actually on the agenda before the festival of love are: Stress, arguments, violence, hectic, panic, excessive demands, unaffordable wishes, etc. Taken together, these are good reasons to hide away by Christmas at the latest and spend the days until New Year alone and in peace and quiet. But only very few people will be able to do this.

This book collects stories from and around the Advent season that show that things can be much worse: Things can get much worse ...
