The run-up to Christmas - it awakens in us the need for security, warmth and a feeling of nostalgia. But it often brings more hustle and bustle than joy: driven by our own and other people's expectations, we rush through stores and Christmas markets, hurrying from Christmas party to Christmas party.
The Lukas Choir is setting a counterpoint to this trend with its Advent music, which is taking place for the first time. Here you can simply come, take a deep breath and escape the hustle and bustle. St. Luke's cantor Tobias Frank has developed the format of a musical evening prayer in which, wrapped in the sound of the choir and listening to the words of the ancient scriptures, you can sense something of the mystery of the incomprehensible.
We will sing, listen and enjoy the silence together by the light of candles. We look forward to seeing you!
