Alex Z. Bakehouse String Trio

In the organizer's words:

The ensemble develops its own musical vision of chamber music influences paired with jazz echoes, based on the compositions of Kassel bassist Sven Krug. The pieces and compositions thrive on whimsical themes full of ironic folklore, can scatter a bitter-sweet sentimentality and occasionally turn into garish experiments. The trio constantly creates unusual and interesting constellations between composition and improvisation by varying the sound possibilities of the individual instruments. The project was created with the help of a grant from the German Music Council 2022.
