Born in Kiğı, a small town in the province of Bingöl, his musical work is deeply rooted in the traditions and languages of the region, including Zazaki, Kurmanji and Armenian. He is particularly influenced by the music of the Alevis, who make up a significant part of the population in the Bingöl and Dersim region.

His musical work began in 2015 with the band Ze Tijê, but his solo work, especially the album "Kiğı" (2022), impressively expressed his extensive engagement with the musical traditions of his hometown.
